Wedding Cake Consultations

 

You are welcome to visit us anytime to browse our selection of model cakes and photos.  To ensure that we will have time to discuss your personalized wedding/event cake it is best to make an appointment (afternoons during the week are best). 

At the time of your consultation you will have the opportunity to taste our cakes. Keep in mind when choosing your flavors that there is no price difference between them. You can also have several different flavors in you cake. It will not change the price.  I recomend going with atleast 2 different flavors, one chocolate based and one vanilla based. Most brides taste about 4-5 flavors. We do ask that you pay for the tasting cakes at the time of the consultation. They are $5.00 each flavor. This cost to you will then be credited towards your deposit when you sign a contract. (Up to 6 flavors).  When you sign the contract a 50% deposit will be due. The remianing balance will be due 14 day prior to the event. At that time we will have a brief meeting to review the contact.   Don't worry!  At that time we can make any changes, number of servings, colors, etc.

For the consultation we ask that you bring everything you think we many need to design your perfect cake. Color samples of all the dresses, invites, pictures of flowers, etc. If you really do not know what you are looking for in a cake, my best recommendation is to check out the internet for pictures that catch your eye. Print off 5, 10, or 20 different designs and we can talk about what you like about each cake. Keep in mind that we can take any design and change the color, size, and shape. We also do have several books and magazines here in house that you are welcome to stop in and look at any time.
